C.TI Mobile Wallet Terms of Use - Endorser

Endorsers can add an extra layer of trust to a recipient's credential so that when it is shared or presented, an organization can digitally affirm that the credential is legitimate.

Welcome to your C.TI Digital Wallet! The C.TI Wallet can be used to add, organize, and store copies of your important documents to make it easier to access your information when and where you need it. When you sign up for the wallet, you use a unique code to get started. To protect your privacy, do not share this code with anyone else. As part of your initial set up, you will create a password to login and access the wallet. Once you login to the wallet, the wallet becomes yours and you can use it to add, organize and store IDs, credentials, and scanned documents (like PDFs). You can use the digital documents and credentials in your wallet to access services that will accept digital copies of ID and credentials.

As an added feature, if you are part of an organization that provided you with these wallets, you may be able to work with their staff to "endorse" the documents you upload to your C.TI Wallet. This endorsement provides others with added assurance that the documents you are providing have been validated by another trusted source. The choice to have your documents endorsed is entirely up to you.

During the endorsement process, there will be an exchange of data between your app and your endorsing organization’s endorsement app. Basic details such as your name and the name of the doc you want to have endorsed (e.g. ‘health card', 'drivers license', etc.) will remain as a record on your organization’s app. Convergence.Tech does not store your digital documents, they only reside locally in your device's digital wallet application and are not maintained in any other app or system, unless you opt to have your account recoverable through a backup.

Endorser Specific Functionality

When a Holder in your organization initiates the endorsement process, there will be an exchange of data between the Holder’s C.TI Wallet app and your Endorser functionality. Basic details of the Holder such as their name and the name of their doc they want to have endorsed (e.g. 'health card', 'drivers license', etc.), will come across and remain as a record on your C.TI Wallet app. At the Holder’s end, the endorsement will come with a digital signature including your name (the endorser) and your agency, and they will remain as records in the Holder’s C.TI Wallet App. It is the endorser's responsibility to thoroughly review the credential being provided by the Holder and confirm all information is accurate before providing a digital endorsement.

Through this agreement, you confirm you understand and accept the information exchange and processes described above, and acknowledge it is your responsibility to handle the records of your endorsements for Holder’s docs and treat their personal information with care. Additionally, it is your responsibility to handle your own personal info as entered during the installation of the endorsement app. If you have any questions, please contact Convergence.Tech support team for assistance.
