      Digital Membership Card Recipient Guide

      This article provides information about how members receive their Digital Membership Cards and offers options for storage and access to them.

      Your Digital Membership Card

      Some organizations may choose to offer Digital Membership Cards to their members. This  allows individuals to carry their membership card on a mobile phone, for easy access to member benefits.

      If your organization is interested in digital membership cards, contact support@convergence.tech to get signed up.

      If your organization has opted in for digital membership cards, here's what you can expect.

      1. Participating organizations will be issuing digital membership cards to their membership base.
      2. Each member will receive an email from "Support<support@convergence.tech>" regarding their digital membership card.
        1. If you did not receive an email, contact the program organizers and ask them to resend the email.

      Using the mobile app

      If you are prompted for a code on the welcome screen of the app, just click continue. You do not need to enter a code to use the membership features.

      1. We recommend that you download the C.TI mobile wallet to store your digital membership card in a mobile wallet on your smartphone. Links to download the wallet are offered in the email notification and above.



      2. Once you've downloaded the mobile app, create an account using your email address and sign in.
        Please note: the password must contain the usual capital/lower case and special character and be 6 characters or longer.
      3. From the Home screen, access the + button to add a credential.
      4. On the next screen, access the Scan QR Code button.
      5. Scan the QR code that is presented in the email you received.
        Note: Do not scan the QR code in the attached PDF to add the card to your wallet. That QR code is used for verification purposes and is the same QR code presented on your digital membership card Scanning that QR code will not add it to your wallet.

         
      6. Once the QR code is scanned, your membership card will appear in your C.TI wallet.
      7. From the Home menu, you can manage your membership card.
      8. The C.TI Wallet offers secure storage for a variety of personal information and has many exciting features. Get more information about C.TI wallets by accessing the FAQs menu in the app.

          

      Printing a paper copy

      1. If you'd prefer to print a paper copy of your membership card, you may access a PDF version which was attached to the email notification you received.
        1. Email clients such as Gmail or Outlook may display a warning message about the attached, encrypted PDF. This is expected behavior, you may ignore the warning if the email is coming from "Support <support@convergence.tech>."

        2. Click the link to the PDF located at the bottom of the email or near the email header.
        3. For security reasons, you will be prompted to enter a password to open the PDF. The password is your membership number. Enter your member ID.
        4. Print the PDF in the size of your choice.
        5. The QR code on the card contains encrypted information about your membership that can be digitally verified.
