You may optionally add your own credentials and documents to the C.TI Mobile Wallet. For a detailed walk through of the features, refer to Overview of C.TI Mobile Wallet.

Endorsing Credentials

This feature allows you to scan a QR code that represents a credential from a  Holder's Wallet. When an endorser scans the QR code and accepts the endorsement, it adds a digital signature to the credential.

This provides an extra layer of trust and verifiability for the recipient and anyone they share the credential with. They can now confirm that the credential is valid and digitally signed by an organization.

This workflow is similar to a two-factor authorization process. Both the credential Holder and the Endorser with the trusted organization assert a claim is legitimate so that when it is shared, it provides a second layer of trust.

  1. The credential Holder must click on the credential that they want the Endorser to endorse.
  2. The credential Holder then clicks the "Endorser Code" button (on the bottom right of their screen).
  3. Meanwhile, the Endorser, in their own app, must click the "More" menu option and then click "Endorse Credential" as highlighted below.

Note: If the QR scanner isn't working, you will need to turn on permission in the app's settings on your phone.
  4. A QR code scanner displays on the Endorser's app. The Endorser must scan the QR code on the credential Holder's wallet.

  5. Once scanned, the Endorser will see the details of the Holder's credential in the Endorser's wallet.
    • Only a logo will be shown. No other images are displayed.
    • The Endorser can see the name of the credential, the name of the person, and the expiration date (if applicable).
    • In the example below, the name of the credential is "Health Card," the name of the person is "John Doe," and the expiration date is "n/a."

  6. From here, the Endorser can endorse the credential or leave the page. It is important that you review the information is accurate before endorsing. You should review the digital and physical copies of the credentials to make sure they match. To proceed with the endorsement, click the button "Endorse Credential."
  7. This creates a QR code that has the Endorser's endorsement in the form of a digital signature.

  8. In order for the credential Holder to add the endorsement, they must click the "Scan QR Code" button displaying in their wallet, allowing them to scan this QR code. Once scanned, the old credential will be overwritten and refreshed to include the endorsement.

Note: If the QR scanner isn't working, they will need to turn on permission in the app's settings on their phone.
    • In essence, show the QR Code to the Holder so that they can scan it to their phone.
  9. Go back to your Home Screen and repeat the process if you want to endorse more credentials.

Endorse History

This feature displays credentials you've endorsed in the past.

  1. To see your endorsement history, click the "More" option in the navigation bar, then click "Endorse History."
  2. This will display all the credentials you have endorsed in the past.
    • It will only show the name of the credential, the name of the person, and the date and time at which it was endorsed.
    • No additional information will display.
    • Use the search feature to find information as needed.
