Customizing the Certificate Design

Step-by-step guide on how to design your certificate.

Creating a Certificate

When choosing a certificate for your credential, you have two options:

1. Use an existing certificate design you already have
2. Create a certificate using Canva

This guide will walk through how to move forward with both. To begin, log into C.TI and navigate to the Credential Catalog tab. Click "Define Credential" in the top right to define a new credential from scratch or click edit on an existing credential definition.

Using an existing certificate design you already have

1. If you already have a certificate design you want to use, click the () option to add it in as a background image.

2. Once the design is added as a background image, you can move forward with customizing the certificate using the remaining features to add text (), images (), badges (), and variable content () on top of the design.

Creating a certificate using Canva

1. Open a new browser tab and navigate to https://www.canva.com/

2. Watch this video below on creating a certificate in Canva.

3. After designing and downloading your certificate from Canva, on the credential definition form in C.TI, click the () option to add it in as a background image.

4. Once the design is added as a background image, you can move forward with customizing the certificate using the remaining features to add text (), images (), badges (), and variable content () on top of the design.
